THE OWNERS ROOM
We’re an open, family run business. Numerous cups of tea, bacon sandwiches, and endless conversation about possible race options, your horses general well being and their work form the centre of conversation. We have a dedicated owners room, with pool table, drinks, and of course a TV covering the days racing.
We work closely with our owners, keeping them as involved as they would like to be. We will keep you up to date with your horses progress, fitness and involve you in decisions around future plans, including what distance, which tracks and which races.
BECOMING AN OWNER
Joining the exciting world of horse racing has never been easier. With several options available to you, from outright ownership, through to company sponsorship and syndicates. Shared ownership provides an affordable route into racing, either banding together with a group of friends or making new ones as we introduce you into a group to share the thrill of race horse ownership.
Sole Ownership costs from £35 per day
Horse transport: £1.30 per mile
Gallop fees: £50 per month
other additional fees apply, contact us for a full breakdown
Syndicates costs from £150 per month
Syndicates include the majority of costs, including farriers, vets, transport and race entry leaving you with one easy monthly payment.
You'll become a registered owner with Weatherbys, choose and name your horse and pick your own, individually coloured jockeys silks. We will give you as much help as required in choosing and buying a horse to suit your preference in pedigree, trip and budget.
Managed by us, a syndicate allows you to divide ownership amongst a group of people, sharing the cost of the horse. It's not necessary to register as an owner and allows you to share the thrill of racing with a group of friends, or make new ones with introductions provided by us.
Partnerships allow you to share ownership. You and other partners will all be registered as owners, and agree on what percentage of the horse you own, and split both costs and prize money based on ownership share.
Own your horse under the name of your company or business. You can own horses either outright or as a partnership or syndicate.
